Twines

HELLAGRO’s twines are made of high quality polypropylene (PP) and are divided into types depending on the intended use. There are simple, general purpose twines in white color, which are used in all kinds of packaging or decoration. They are offered in small reels, usually from 0,5kg to 2kg in different strand densities (denier). There is also provision of the branded greenhouse twine ARMA in green color, on reels of 1kg and 2kg, which is characterized by great UV radiation stability, an essential feature for Mediterranean climates. This property renders it ideal for use in greenhouses, where it ensures the proper fixing of plants and their smooth development.

Sisal fiber ropes and twines are also offered. These materials are broadly used in decoration, agriculture and packaging. As Sisal fiber is derived from a vegetable product, it can be used to fasten plants as it has a soft texture and does not injure shoots. The strings are offered in small reels of o,5kg or 1kg, while the ropes in coils of 5kg or 10kg. Finally, strings include tobacco fiber, which is an ecological linen string with great resistance. It is used in tobacco bunches, furniture, and in cheese and meat smoking facilities.
