EXTRA® Baler Twine

The EXTRA® baling twine ensures high stability and durability of the bales. It is a branded, certified, European material of high standards. Comprised of a reinforced mesh, which, with proper twisting, creates a strong thread ensuring continuous flow in the baling systems and maximum strength. Suitable for forming bales (square or round) of any crop, such as clover, oats, or straw (hay) derived from barley, wheat, rice, or bran.

There are two types of twines based on their weave density. The HD (high density), recommended for shaping large, high-pressure square bales, and the SD (standard density) for shaping either small bales or large square bales of lower pressure. For round bales, the use of 700SD or 800SD is recommended, depending on the desired weight of the bale.

What types of baling machines are used?

The EXTRA® baling twine by HELLAGRO is used in both square balers and round hay balers. Depending on the application, the corresponding type of twine, SD or HD, is recommended to withstand the pressure of each bale.
