SHADE NETS
HELLAGRO S.A. supplies branded shade nets made in Greece. They are made of high density polyethylene (HDPE), stabilized against solar UV radiation and with a 3-year warranty. They are specially designed to withstand the sunlight conditions of our country, thus ensuring an ideal environment for crop growth and production.
They create an ideal, protective micro-climate that allows seeds, fruits, vegetables, potted plants and flowers to thrive. Shading Nets are divided into several types according to their weaving which is what defines the percentage of radiation that penetrates each one of them.
They are suitable:
- for shading vegetables and other crops, creating a micro-climate, wind fences, etc.
- for construction sites (on the scaffolding of buildings under construction and renovation, to protect from plaster and dust)
- for fencing
- for the construction of parking lot shelters
The shading nets supplied by HELLAGRO are the only ones made in Greece. The distinctive E in their type designation indicates Greek manufacture. All nets comply with strict International standards. They are also the only ones that can be built according to the needs of each individual customer.

A lightweight net, used for shading greenhouses not fully exposed to the sun and crops such as tomatoes, peppers, etc. The E-30 shading net is also used for covering buildings and surrounding areas of crops and greenhouses. The shading net is also suitable for use as a light wind barrier.

The E-60 shade net is lightweight but more reinforced than the E-30 and is also used to protect vegetables, citrus and greenhouses. Suitable for greater shading needs due to sunshine and high temperatures. The E-60 shading net is suitable for use as a light wind barrier.

The E-90 shade net is a heavier net compared to the previous ones. Ideal for horticulture, greenhouses, tobacco barns and generally wherever there are high shading requirements and a need to create a micro-climate. Finally, it can be used as a moderate wind barrier.

The E-125 shading net is used in greenhouses and crops requiring maximum protection against solar radiation and wind. This makes it the best windproof net. Suitable for the construction of shelters for shading greenhouses and crops. It is also used a lot in construction to cover buildings, so as to keep the dust in and to provide protection against falling plaster or other materials.
